Sony TVs have good display technology, and in addition they feature great upscaling and motion handling. Sony TVs, even the cheaper models, do better than LG and Samsung at upscaling lower-resolution content, and they offer great motion handling and great color accuracy.
Sony TVs are well known for their excellent out-of-the-box accuracy, especially the high-end models like Sony 32 Inch 720p HD LED HDR TV.

Considering which TV is better Sony or LG? First, you will have to know the feature you want in a TV. LG TV is the dominant brand because they have better gaming performance and cost less.
However, Sony TVs are far better than LG TVs because they get brighter, have better uniformity, and usually have better contrast.

The only aspect one LG TVs are better that Sony TVs is when we compare their prices. The prices of LG TVs are better and less that those of Sony TVs.
Finally, if you have interest in TV with high picture quality go for Sony TV. But, if you are interested in TVs that cost less you can go for LG TVs.
