LG TVs, especially NanoCell TVs, use a different technology called IPS (In-plane switching) panels. This is a screen technology for liquid crystal displays (LCDs). This design solved the main limitations of the twisted nematic field effect (TN) matrix LCDs. These limitations included strong viewing angle dependence and low-quality color reproduction.
Therefore, LG TVs have the capacity of viewing angle very well. Colors retain their luminosity when viewed at the angle. However, while watching LG NanoCell TVs, you will sure notice that every part of the screen displays perfectly, including the angle.

Samsung TVs
Samsung TVs, especially the QLED TVs, always have a VA panel. This panels enables the black to be very deep and the brightness and contrast are sufficient for HDR content. The only limitation to Samsung TVs is the viewing angle. Colors slightly lose their luminosity when viewed at the angle and get a gray haze.
However, while watching Samsung QLED TVs, you will notice that they are very much saturated and colorful.

Considering which is better TV Samsung or LG? First, you have to know the feature you want in a TV. If you are considering picture quality, Samsung TVs have better picture quality while LG TVs have just average picture quality.
But, if you are considering the quality or sharpness of picture on the angle of the TV, LG TVs features strong and better viewing angle. You can now decide which TV brand is better than the other depending on the feature you want. Though we are yet to discover any better feature one will want in a TV than picture quality.

After testing LG OLED TVs, the mid-tier LG C3 OLED TV is probably the best in quality. But, It’s picture quality and brightness don’t quite match the Samsung QD-OLED TVs. However, LG is better for those who want cheaper TV since it is hundreds of dollars cheaper than Samsung.

Given that Samsung and LG LED TVs function have some similar features, we suggest you decide between the two based on display technology. If you prefer a brighter picture, Samsung LED TV sets are the way to go.

After testing Samsung 3D TVs, it is clear that Samsung 3D TVs are better than LG 3D TVs on the ground of picture quality. However, considering their prices, you can get LG 3D TVs at a cheaper price than Samsung 3D TVs.

However, LG Smart TVs is better than Samsung Smart TVs when you compare their prices. Thus, if your focus is on price go for LG Smart TV. But, if your focus is on picture quality, go for Samsung Smart TVs.

Also, Samsung TVs usually get a fair bit brighter, and have better contrast; while LG TVs generally have much wider viewing angles and better smart features.
However, if you are more interested in the angle than the picture quality, you can go for LG TVs.
